Terms & Conditions
We really hope you enjoy using our service. We really care about getting it right and making it 'worry-free'.
You are protected by Distance Selling Regulations when buying online, and your payment card details are
never seen by us.
How to cancel an order:
If you wish to cancel but the goods are already on their way to you, or have been received by you, contact
us in writing (this can be by email to firstname.lastname@example.org) stating that you wish to cancel, within
14 days of receiving the goods. We will provide a returns address for you to return the item to.
You will be required to take all reasonable care of the item and return it to us by signature-required delivery
within 7 days of your emailed cancellation, in the same condition you received it in please. The return of the
goods will be at your own cost unless the cancellation is for defective goods (you may re-use the packaging).
If goods are not received back at the address provided by us within that 7 day period we reserve the right
to pass reasonable charges to you for their recovery by ourselves.
A reimbursement to you for the original item cost and the delivery charge we made when we first
despatched it will be made within 14 days of your dated written notice of cancellation, as long as the goods
have been received back by ourselves in the same condition we despatched them in.
As our items are of vintage quality, please bear in mind that we will have described them and photographed
them to give you as accurate an idea as we possibly can as to their condition. They will not be in 'as new/
showroom' condition, but our item description will always be an honest appraisal.
As from 1st Jan 2019 we are not VAT registered.
For Deliveries in the UK goods are usually shipped by by Royal Mail or via professional courier (usually UPS
or Parcelforce). For USA/Canada we usually use UPS and Parcelforce (small items may come via Royal
Mail airmail services). Due to the unique nature of our pieces, we'll be unable to supply a replacement should
anything be lost en-route.
We request a phone number as companies such as UPS need one in order to book a parcel with them - to
enable them to handle any issues with you when they are trying to deliver to you.
Please note: courier companies will not insure glass or frames (or paintings for damage from either), only
total loss of the package, so if an item is framed and/or glazed please take that into account. We pack well
but you take the risk if you want it shipped with glass and frame intact.
outlines how we will do this, how we will collect and use your information (such as your name, address, your
email address, mobile telephone number or other contact details) and how you can limit our use of this.
What information do we gather?
When you register with us we simply take the minimum information we need to ensure your ordered item can
be delivered to you efficiently. We take no card details, you do this privately using paypal or by transferring
direct to our bank or we can send you an invoice payable by card using our izettle account.
Information is gathered in two ways: (1) indirectly (for example, through our website's technology which tell
us how many users have looked at which pages, so we can see what art is popular); and (2) directly (for
example, when you provide information to register on our mailing list if you want to be informed when specific
items come into stock with us).
One example of information we collect indirectly is through Internet access logs. When you access the
website, your numeric internet address can be automatically seen at the time, but is not stored.
Our buy-online pages may need to collect cookies in order to process your requests or payment.
We collect information when you voluntarily submit it to us. You can register to request early notification if a
specific picture type or artists work arrives with us.
Use of your information
We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office annually as data administrators.
We may use your personal information to: contact you by mail or telephone to let you know about products
you specifically asked us to inform you about, if you have registered those specific your interests with us.
Where we contact you about these items, which will be by email or phone, we will only do so when you have
requested us to.
Disclosing your information
Any personal information gathered by or supplied to us will only be used by the Masthead Art service. We
never sell or pass our customer data outside of Masthead Art and our parent company DealDrivers Ltd.
We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in good-faith believing such action
is necessary to comply with the law.
How do I change my personal details?
We want to ensure that we provide you with the best possible service. Please therefore always keep us
updated of any changes to your personal information, for example, if your email address changes and you
have asked us to contact you when specific stock arrives.
