MastheadArt is a trading name and style of a small limited company.
Art has always been a passion of ours and we collected art privately for many years, but decided to start dealing and build it into the company as a standalone brand.
We have a special interest in maritime and coastal art, but we also carry a large number of landscapes, portraits, still life, abstract etc
We had our own gallery in Cirencester in the Cotswolds until 2011, and for many years (until early 2024) we supplied the wall art in a super Vintage and Interiors store in Nailsworth in Gloucestershire - but we now trade through a variety of online routes, art fairs.
REVIVING OLD ART WITH NEW LIFE
We take a lot of unframed work (much of which may have been lost if we didn’t save it!)- both old and contemporary, and we refurbish old frames (a very eco-approach to great frames which are too good to be discarded!) to match the work, and produce fantastic revived pieces to suit every budget.
We sell a lot of loose leaf or simply mounted art, ideal for creating your own gallery walls or salon style walls using your own frames.
GETTING ITEMS TO YOU
If courier / postal delivery is infeasible for an item, or not preferable, you may arrange personal handover of by appointment with us en route between regular art colleague van runs to Derbyshire M5/M42/M1 or Devon M5/A30, and the Reading/Newbury areas on the M4 towards London, all by mutually convenient arrangement. Ask prior to committing to purchase to check feasibility with your location.
OVERSEAS SHIPPING
We supply art to private buyers, and in bulk to dealers, making regular shipments using UPS, fedex and Parcelforce.
We ship to the USA regularly.

Please just register with us (send your contact details to enquiry@mastheadart.co.uk ) and say you’d like details of any specific types of work or by a specific artist as soon as it comes into stock, so we can email you to give you first chance on things you may want to buy.

Some of our stock is sold immediately on arrival at our office to clients who have registered their specific interests with us, so do let us know if you want "first dibs" on anything in particular.
ART FAIRS
We attend arts, antiques, vintage and collectibles fairs as an exhibitor throughout the year. If you think you have a venue which may suit us, get in touch!
